El Salvador is setting a new benchmark in wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital innovation with its ambitious plan to train 80,000 government employees on Bitcoin. This initiative, spearheaded by the National Bitcoin office (ONBTC), aims to transform the country into a leading Bitcoin-friendly nation.

The training program, known as the “Certification in Public Administration 1,” is a comprehensive 160-hour online course spread across seven modules. It covers essential topics such as the legal implications of Bitcoin, strategic management, and the integration of Bitcoin into public policies.

This initiative will be carried out by the Higher school of Innovation in Public Administration (ESIAP), which was founded by President Nayib Bukele in august 2021. The training is designed to improve governance by equipping civil servants with the knowledge needed to effectively handle Bitcoin-related matters.

Stacy Herbert, the director of ONBTC, is optimistic about the program’s impact. She believes that by educating civil servants on Bitcoin, el salvador will not only enhance its governance but also reap long-term economic benefits, solidifying its position as a hub for wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital innovation.
