The Telecom Regulatory Authority of india has clarified that only your telecom company can take action to close the mobile number. There can be many reasons for this. There can be many reasons like billing, KYC or misuse of number. customers should know that those who threaten to shut down the mobile in the name of TRAI are frauds. If you get such a call, you can also check it by calling the call center of your telecom service provider.


Give information on Chakshu Facility, Cyber Crime Helpline Number or Website

TRAI said that in cases like cyber crime and financial fraud, citizens should report on Chakshu Facility available on the communication companion platform of Department of Telecommunication. Apart from this, information about such suspicious calls should also be given by visiting the cyber crime helpline number 1930 or the official website.
