The telugu Film industry has been somewhat quiet when it comes to producing large-scale movies for streaming platforms, despite the recent explosive growth of streaming material. For this reason, the audience found the investigative thriller series Brinda, starring trisha Krishna, to be a breath of new air when it premiered earlier this month. Even though it covered ground that was well-trod, the program distinguished itself by how it handled and examined socio-political subjects like religious dogma and nature vs. nurture, among other things.

Director Surya Manoj Vangala said, "I love popular movies. rrr and my pushpa are nice. Unlike tamil cinema, which seems to concentrate more on arthouse material, I think the telugu movie has everything. On the other hand, I enjoy sincere movies. I enjoy the area where a celebrity may be cast in a heartfelt storyline, as mahesh babu and venkatesh were in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, and where a big-budget movie including well-known actors can address subjects that the public should find endearing and relatable."

Regarding trisha, he said, "For twenty-one years, she has ruled the screen. It was astounding how much she respected a director and how much she valued my words. That quality is the reason they are superstars. She had a lot to unlearn before she could trust a rookie filmmaker like me. She has performed flawlessly in legitimate commercial projects like varsham and Ghilli. She then worked on my program, where she had to be really delicate and subdued. Nobody else could have provided the subtleties, fragility, and quirkiness that she did.
