The malayalam film industry has been accused of fostering a poisonous and misogynistic atmosphere for its female actresses and technicians, according to a report released by the Justice hema Committee. Numerous cases of sexual exploitation and even violence in the sector have been documented in the research. The committee was established back in 2017 in reaction to one of the most well-known assault incidents in the history of the business, which caused a talented actress to stay away from the big screen for years.
