Rider Dies After car Hits Motorcycle in Bengaluru Incident 

A motorcyclist was killed in Bengaluru after a car driver struck his bike following a minor brush between the two vehicles. The accident occurred on wednesday night in the Vidyaranyapura area.

Police sources report that after the motorcycle lightly brushed past the car, an altercation broke out between the car driver and the motorcyclist. As the confrontation escalated, the car driver pursued the biker and eventually collided with the motorcycle, resulting in the rider's death at the scene.

The deceased has been identified as Mahesh. Authorities noted that the motorcycle was carrying three people, while the car had two passengers. A case has been filed in connection with the incident.

This tragic event comes amidst ongoing concerns about road rage in Bengaluru. Recently, a similar incident in the sarjapur area involved an alleged drunk biker who shattered a car’s window, causing distress to a family. A video of this incident, shared by Citizens Movement, east Bengaluru on the X platform, has gone viral, drawing widespread condemnation of the biker’s behavior. The footage shows the biker reacting aggressively despite the car driver’s warnings about a child in the vehicle, ultimately smashing the windshield.
