ola S1X got PLI certificate
ola S1X is available in the indian market with three battery packs. Scooters with 3 kWh and 4 kWh battery packs of this scooter have been brought under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. S1X is one of the most popular scooters in ola Electric. This scooter of ola has met the criteria required for the PLI scheme due to its increasing popularity and reach.
The Ministry of Heavy Industries, government of india sets the criteria for these vehicles under the PLI scheme. Both variants of ola S1X have successfully met the minimum localization criteria of 50 percent. Under this, the scooters of these variants have been given PLI certificate.
Increased sales of ola S1X
ola Electric CEO Bhavish Aggarwal wrote on the social media platform X that the sales of these two products are 50 percent of our total orders. As our sales increase, India's EV future will also grow. Earlier, ola S1 air and ola S1 Pro have also received PLI certificate.
How to get PLI Certification?
The PLI certificate is approved by the Automotive Research Association of India. This organization tests the product and also checks the localization of the components of the product. After the certification of 3 kWh and 4 kWh of ola S1X, now four products of this company have got this certificate.
