Once again, singing superstar Sabrina Carpenter is going viral—this time, it's because she released the music video for the song "Taste," which is off her most recent album, Short n' Sweet. In the video, Sabrina is shown pursuing actor Jenna Ortega, her lover's cheating accomplice, after she found out about it. The film, which depicts violent violence in a darkly comedic fashion, has the internet in a frenzy. We even witness Jenna and Sabrina sharing a kiss at one point.
 
Internet users were quick to react to the MV as one of them wrote, "When will yall start seeing that all celebrities do is queer bait lol?" Another wrote, "OMG THE DISNEY GIRLS ALWAYS HAVE THE SPARK (sic)." "Real actors," read a comment from a fan. One user commented, "This wasn’t on my 2024 Bingo Card OMG (sic)." Carpenter is known for having written and crooned hit tracks such as "Please Please Please” and “Espresso,” among more.

It's my second 'big girl' record, the singer said in a recent interview with Variety. It is not the same, but it is a companion. I would classify this as a sophomore album in terms of complete creative autonomy and maturity. Soon, on september 23, Sabrina Carpenter will embark on her Sweet n Sour tour, which will kick off with a show in Ohio.
