According to Billboard, singer-actor Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from hollywood star Ben Affleck and has since asked for her previous name to be reinstated.
 
The singer has also applied for a name change, asking the court to reinstate her previous name, Jennifer lynn Lopez, according to court records that were received from the court. Following her passionate marriage to Affleck two years prior, she had formally changed her name to Jennifer lynn Affleck.
 
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were married twice. July 16, 2022, saw their wedding in Las Vegas. Less than two months later, on august 20, 2022, the pair wed in a customary Georgian ceremony.

Jennifer is also in favor of dividing their property: "At this point, petitioner is unsure of the precise nature and extent of separate property assets and obligations." The people report said, "Petitioner reserves the right to amend this Petition when same is ascertained."
 
As per many sources in US media, Jennifer filed for divorce on august 20, the day of their second anniversary, and stated that they parted ways on april 26, 2024.
