During the US's india Day celebrations, a dispute erupted over an ayodhya Temple float. Numerous groups argued that the float was anti-Muslim. Additionally, some indian Americans opposed this event. The entire float was built of wood, and it was air cargoed from india to the US. The parade's organizers, the Federation of indian Associations, addressed the situation in a media conference. Prior to the india Day celebration, the New York police Department and the Mayor provided assistance and approval, according to Federation Chairman Ankur Vaidya.
