During the US's india Day celebrations, a dispute erupted over an ayodhya Temple float. Numerous groups argued that the float was anti-Muslim. Additionally, some indian Americans opposed this event. Nonetheless, a sizable segment of the Hindu community and indian diaspora in the US took part in the procession.

The entire float was built of wood, and it was air cargoed from india to the US. The parade's organizers, the Federation of indian Associations, addressed the situation in a media conference. Prior to the india Day celebration, the New York police Department and the Mayor provided assistance and approval, according to Federation Chairman Ankur Vaidya.

In india, communal divisions have been growing. The reports of conflict amongst indian American groups appear to be a mirror of the tensions that exist back home. The US Commission on international Religious Freedom expressed alarm earlier this year on the opening of the ayodhya Temple on the site of the Babri Mosque. However, no official body in their own nation has commented on this dispute.

With a wave of telugu students coming to the country under the guise of seeking higher education, notably an MS degree, the telugu population in the united states has increased dramatically, especially in recent years. Though the truth is much different, it is often recognized that this degree is frequently only a means of entry into the country.

Some of these pupils' recent actions have damaged the whole school body in addition to embarrassing their parents. A couple females were caught stealing food from stores recently, and the footage of them went viral. It has been especially disturbing that five telugu students were caught up in a prostitution ring in the most recent occurrence.
