MK stalin, the chief minister of tamil Nadu, emphasized on saturday that tamil should be given priority in temple rites and that there should be no discrimination between individuals inside the state's temples' inner sanctorum.

Via video conference on saturday, stalin opened the two-day Global Muthamizh Murugan Conference in Palani, Dindigul district.

The chief minister said that the DMK administration respects all religions and enumerated the efforts made by the state's Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department to improve temples and provide more amenities for devotees, among other things.

Everybody holds unique beliefs. It doesn't have any highs or lows. These ideas have never been undermined by the Dravidian political system. In addition, the government strives to uphold the religious beliefs of all people. The chief minister stated, "Everything for everyone is the foundation of the Dravidian model.

The conference's objectives are to unite followers of Lord Murugan from all across the nation and the globe and to disseminate and comprehend the fundamental ideas of Lord Murugan.

Palani, regarded as the third of Lord Murugan's six abodes, is the venue for the meeting.

During the occasion, a number of academics will talk about Lord Murugan and present research papers. Among other things, the conference would feature workshops, a picture show, and 3D displays.

However, a number of tamil Nadu political experts think that the DMK administration called the conference in an attempt to shed light on its perceived “anti-Hindu” image, particularly in light of the uproar that DMK minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's comments against Sanatana dharma caused.

It was also believed by many that the DMK intends to use Lord ram to portray Lord Murugan in order to oppose the politics of the BJP.
