An irate man from gwalior in madhya pradesh planned his wife's murder because he could not stand her lavish spending. According to the police, the husband, hemant Sharma, paid his buddies Rs 2.5 lakh to carry out the attack. police investigations revealed the occurrence, which happened on august 13 and first looked to be a traffic collision, 10 days later.

Sharma orchestrated the murder to appear like a traffic accident, according to the authorities. Sharma brought his wife Durgawati and her brother sandesh to a shrine on the day of the crime. One of Sharma's associates purposely crashed an EcoSport vehicle onto the motorbike carrying Durgawati and sandesh as it was returning.

Sandesh was hurt, but Durgawati died at the hospital after suffering serious injuries.

Sharma first claimed that a cargo truck was to blame for the collision and reported it as a hit-and-run.

Suspicions were aroused, nonetheless, by contradictions in his narrative and the absence of such a vehicle in local CCTV footage.

The EcoSport automobile was seen following the motorbike just before the crash, according to additional inquiry, which led the police to look into Sharma's personal life in more detail.

It was discovered during the inquiry that Durgawati, hemant Sharma's second wife, had had a sexual involvement with him prior to her 2021 marriage. In 2022, Sharma also tied the knot.

But soon after Sharma's marriage, Durgawati filed for divorce from her first husband and left for her own country. Following that, Durgawati and Sharma got back together, and in 2023 they were legally married.

However, Sharma's finances suffered as a result of Durgawati's extravagant spending, which caused their relationship to collapse. Sharma, enraged and frustrated, came up with a scheme to kill her.

Niranjan Sharma, an additional superintendent of police, verified that three accomplices were involved in the murderous scheme. Two other conspirators are still at large, but Sharma and the driver of the automobile have been taken into custody by the police.
