One of the leading firms in the IT space, Infosys employs the majority of people worldwide. The business has since introduced a "power program" for universities that use differential hiring. The corporation would provide freshers with packages of up to Rs. 9 lakhs annually under this initiative.

Freshers are often offered packages in the market that range from Rs. 3-3.5 lakh. However, the business is developing a brand-new initiative that can be considered revolutionary for recent graduates in the IT field. The sources claim that in addition to software and code challenges, programming ability tests, and other specialized skill assessments for both exams and interviews, the corporation intends to broaden its hiring emphasis.

However, Tata Consultancy services (TCS) has an effort of a similar nature as well. Under their Prime initiative, which focuses on attracting young talent for software development roles, they pay wages between Rs. 9 and 11 lakh annually. Infosys now intends to employ between 15,000 and 20,000 recent graduates in FY25. During a recent conference call, Infosys' chief financial officer, Jayesh Sanghrajka, gave this explanation: "As you know, we have moved to the agile hiring base in the last multiple quarters." This essentially implies that we recruit new students from both on and off campus.
