Infosys has planned to make large scale acquisitions this year. Infosys CEO Salil Parekh said that the company is thinking of buying companies working in many sectors including data analytics and SAAS. These acquisitions can happen in europe and America. Salil Parekh said that it is not right to blame Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the layoffs. He said that there will be no layoffs in Infosys due to AI. We are going to increase recruitment.


Infosys has bought two companies this year

During an interview, Salil Parekh said that we are constantly trying to increase our capabilities. For this, it is also necessary to make acquisitions. An announcement about this can be made in the coming three months. In january this year, the company had announced the purchase of semiconductor design company InSemi technology Services. After this, in April, Infosys germany also bought in-tech Holding. Salil Parekh said that both these companies have helped us strengthen our engineering services business.


Eye on data analytics

Infosys CEO said that the company has enough money. Now we need companies working in sectors like data analytics and SaaS. Right now we have many companies in our sight. However, such things take time. Apart from money, work culture and coordination with Infosys are also being thought about. He said that it is difficult to tell the exact time at the moment. But, Infosys is serious about this.


Gen AI training given to more than 2.5 lakh employees

Salil Parekh said that technology is changing due to AI. Many of our clients are also demanding Gen AI. The demand for AI will increase further. Infosys is ready for this. Such things have happened before. Its use depends only on the client. If they see benefits in it, AI will expand further. Earlier this year, the company had informed that it has trained more than 2.5 lakh of its employees in Gen AI. Salil Parekh clarified that there will be no layoffs in Infosys due to AI. We will do more recruitment in the future.
