Deepender Singh Hooda welcomes manu Bhaker in village!!!


Ever since Olympic medalist manu Bhaker has returned home, a welcome program is being organized for her. On Sunday, she was welcomed in her native village in Jhajjar, haryana, in which rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda was also present. He expressed hope that next time manu will bring a gold medal for the country.


manu also went to her maternal home in Khanpur Khurd today where she was welcomed. While talking to ANI, Deepender Singh Hooda said, "This is a matter of pride for us. I want to congratulate my daughter and sister. Manu, who has won medals in two Olympics, has created history. This has happened for the first time in the history of India. Jhajjar district has given three medals. Jhajjar has won three out of six and haryana has won five out of six medals. Jhajjar will be bigger than so many countries. A welcome ceremony for Aman Shehrawat has also been arranged on 27th August. Today a welcome ceremony has been arranged for manu Bhaker.''


Deepender Singh Hooda has also shared the picture of the welcome ceremony. He wrote on 'X', ''I attended the welcome ceremony of our sister manu Bhaker of village Goriya (Jhajjar) of my lok sabha constituency, who did the miracle of winning 2 medals in the same Olympic edition. On this occasion, manu Bhaker was felicitated and best wishes were given for a golden future. Next time our sister will make the country and state proud on the world map by aiming accurately at the gold.'' Before manu Bhaker, Deepender Singh Hooda had also gone to the airport to welcome wrestler Vinesh Phogat, who missed out on winning the medal.
