Threat To abhishek Banerjee's Daughter, bengal Child Rights Body Takes Note

Abhishek Banerjee is an indian Politician. He is a member of the All india Trinamool congress and he is currently serving as a Member of Parliament, Diamond Harbour, South 24 Parganas, West bengal since 2014

Amid the outrage over the RG Kar incident, the West bengal child rights body has taken cognizance of a rape threat to the 11-year-old daughter of TMC mp and the party’s national general secretary abhishek Banerjee. Banerjee is the nephew of West bengal Chief minister Mamata Banerjee.

The West bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights has taken suo motu cognizance of a video on social media from a protest rally over the rape and murder of a 31-year-old doctor in Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical college and Hospital.

According to the panel, one person in the gathering was heard threatening abhishek Banerjee’s minor daughter with rape. The person is also reported to have publicly announced a reward of Rs 10 crore to anyone who commits it.

“Such filthy intention of the miscreant and his indecent remark in public amounts to outraging the modesty of a minor girl and also endangering her safety and security,” the commission has said in a statement
