Since its establishment by the telangana congress administration, the hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has been vigorously clearing out unlawful encroachments from the city. The Janwada farmhouse, which Congres believes is owned by BRS working president KT Ramarao, has made headlines once more because of HYDRAA.

A person going by the name pradeep Reddy Badvelu filed a case in the high court for an injunction to stop the farmhouse from potentially being demolished. When BRS ruled telangana, the debate surrounding the Janwada farmhouses started. revanth reddy, the current chief minister, filed a petition against this farmhouse before the National Green Tribunal (NGT) while he was an MP.

According to him, the farmhouse was built illegally in the GO 111 zone, which is part of the Himayat Sagar and Osman Sagar lakes' conserved territories. revanth said that although the farmhouse is registered in his benami pradeep Reddy Badvelu's name, it is actually owned by KTR.

After receiving Revanth's appeal, the NGT gave the order to establish a joint committee to look into the matter. Conversely, pradeep Reddy petitioned the high court, claiming that his building was lawful, while ktr claimed that the farmhouse was his. pradeep asked the high court to revoke the NGT's ruling. Following a review of the case, the high court granted a temporary stay. In the present, pradeep filed a plea in the high court once more since HYDRAA is continuously tearing down unlawful structures in the GO 111 region.

He said that his farmhouse was being wrongly associated with ktr and that the congress administration may destroy it for political purposes. The petition has not yet been heard by the high court, and its decision will be significant in determining the future of this Janwada Farmhouse.
