Bollywood vs. South movie rivalries are becoming more heated, particularly with the matchup between Prabhas' Salaar and Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki from the previous year. Released at about the same time, neither movie was a huge hit and ultimately damaged the other's box office results. mahesh babu and Shah Rukh Khan will now face off in another unique match at the end of the year.

The next Disney picture Mufasa: The lion King will have both celebrities doing distinct vocal performances for the same character. In the hindi version, mahesh babu will voice Mufasa; in the telugu version, Shah Rukh Khan will do the same. On december 20, this much-anticipated Barry Jenkins film—which will be available in English, hindi, Tamil, and Telugu—will be released in theaters. ali will play Timon and brahmanandam will play Pumbaa in the telugu adaptation. Shah Rukh Khan's sons, aryan Khan as Simba and AbRam as the younger Mufasa, will appear with him in the hindi version. This will be AbRam's first time doing voice acting.

A blend of live-action and photorealistic computer-generated visuals presents new and cherished characters as it follows Mufasa's journey from an abandoned cub to the adored monarch of the Pride Lands. While it would be great if this matchup didn't go badly as prabhas vs. SRK did last year, it would be intriguing to watch whether Mufasa version fares better at the box office. Will Mahesh Babu's telugu version win over the crowd or will Shah Rukh Khan's hindi version take center stage?
