The event, which started in 2019, has its own fan base. The show has completed four seasons so far. Currently, its fifth season is in full swing. The major contributor to the success of the event is the clowns who participate in it. Just like the various clowns have changed since the first season, there have been many changes except for a few clowns like Pugazh, Qureshi, Sarath, and Thangadurai. Accordingly, Bijili Ramesh was one of those who participated as a clown in the first season of Cooku with Comali. He was fired halfway through that season after a few episodes. The reason for his departure was not disclosed at the time.
However, there were reports that he was kicked out of the show halfway through after arriving drunk on the sets. Bijili Ramesh himself was openly asked about this in an interview. To which he says that in the beginning I drank and then I stopped drinking. Superstar Rajinikanth was the main reason he gave up drinking. Bijili Ramesh, an ardent fan of Rajinikanth, has said in an interview that he quit drinking after hearing Rajinikanth talk about how deadly alcohol is at the Jailer audio launch. Even though he gave up drinking, the health problems he developed due to it have claimed his life today. His drinking habit has now become a problem for him. So Bijili died at the age of 45.
