Without question, having land is a sign of luxury. The fraction of people who own land, much alone a home, is quite low. Owning an island is therefore extremely valuable and exclusive to the very wealthy. Only three bollywood celebrities—one of whom is a woman—have their island since the accomplishment is so uncommon. Not your typical suspect, the only indian actress to own a private island.

A private island would seem to belong to one of the wealthiest and most prominent indian actresses. Despite being the wealthiest indian actress of today, aishwarya Rai does not possess an island. The two highest-paid actresses now in the industry, priyanka chopra and deepika padukone do not possess islands either. Like alia bhatt, katrina kaif, samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Kareena Kapoor, none of the other A-list celebrities are proud proprietors of their island. That accolade belongs to Sri Lankan actress jacqueline fernandez, who has worked in bollywood for more than 15 years.

How did jacqueline fernandez buy a private island?
Even if Jacqueline isn't as successful at the box office these days, ten years ago she was one of the best actresses in the business thanks to successes like Kick, Housefull 2, and murder 2. She was at the pinnacle of her game from 2011 to 2014, but her final hit was Housefull 3 in 2016. Jacqueline purchased a private island off the coast of her native sri lanka in 2012, during this prosperous period.

All about Jacqueline Fernandez’s private island
According to rumors, Jacqueline purchased the island in 2012 to erect an opulent mansion there. It was never established if Jacqueline intended to lease the island for business usage or to utilize it as a private home. According to reports, she purchased the island just before she signed Race 2 and following the back-to-back box office successes of murder 2 and Housefull 2. According to Siasat, Jacqueline's extravagant purchase in 2012 cost her $600k, or little more than Rs 3 crore. What the actress did with the island after that is unclear, though.
