Meanwhile, fellow patients and hospital staff intervened and freed the patient and the doctors came out safely. However, after this incident came to light, doctors all over the state became worried. They are demanding to protect them. On the other hand, the chittoor police have taken up the investigation of this incident. It was preliminarily confirmed that the patient who attacked was mentally unstable. Meanwhile, the doctors concluded that they had no treatment in unprotected hospitals.
