Over the years, Bollywood's appearance has seen several transformations. Family dramas were once considered to be a kind of entertainment. We gradually moved on to topics with dark themes, mature humor, and action. Even though some of them were lifted straight out of Hollywood, they finally became popular.

In the 1980s, the idea of remakes also began to gain popularity. However, there was another stage—the Covid-19 pandemic—that altered people's preferences. Five years ago, moviegoers would have readily accepted any movie, but that is not the case anymore. This year's failure of large-scale initiatives has demonstrated that people are searching for other things. Prominent casting director Mukesh Chhabra recently spoke on Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast about the state of today's movies.

In the interview, Chhabra stated that education is now given precedence above amusement by filmmakers. He continued by saying that if bollywood began combining the two, it would rise to its feet once more. He went so far as to use bajrangi bhaijaan as an example, claiming that even if the filmmaker included a commercial flavor, the movie still had a message. It is regrettable that the hindi film business is going through a difficult period right now when millions of producers are hurting. Filmmakers are astonished by the box office receipts and have no other way to get their invested money back.

A significant element that has been absent from today's movies is a writer with a distinctive voice. neeraj vora formerly wrote dialogue for comedic movies, and those lines went on to become famous. Regretfully, we are not producing enough of these individuals. A reduction in the fees that each actor receives is another modification that is urgently required. It is better to just expect profits only after a film has been released in order to break even at the box office without having to make additional investments.
