Beginning in 2024, bollywood has been negatively impacted by the dry season. A select few movies achieved success, but the others, despite their considerable buzz, failed to live up to the audience's expectations.
 
A few horror movies that managed to provide some respite for the multiplexes and large screens appeared in between all of these. stree 2, the Maddock Supernatural Universe's second project of the year, is the most recent addition to the list. The horror comedy shattered the opening day box office records which was not made by any other hindi film this year. The public's enthusiasm has already grown due to the special appearances and teases for the next movies, but actor abhishek Banerjee, who portrays one of the roles, has provided an update regarding stree 3.
 
The Paatal Lok actor disclosed during his speech that the script for stree 3 is complete and will be longer than the second installment. In addition, he said that although though filming would take a long time, viewers won't have to wait as long as they did for stree 2. Aparshakti Khurana, a different cast member, said that the third movie was planned prior to the premiere of stree 2.

Notably, producer Dinesh Vijan said that stree 3 was already written at the trailer presentation ceremony. With Bhediya 2 and Vampires of Vijay nagar on the horizon, viewers will get to experience more of the Maddock Supernatural Universe even though stree 3 won't be on screen for a while.
