A discussion between Republican presidential candidate donald trump and Democratic contender Kamala harris has been scheduled for september 10. trump has stated that "the rules will be the same as the last CNN debate, which seemed to work out well for everyone."

Trump said, "I have reached an agreement with the Radical Left Democrats for a debate with Comrade Kamala harris," in a tweet shared on his social media site Truth. It will run live in Philadelphia, pennsylvania on Tuesday, september 10th on ABC FAKE news, the cruelest and most unjust newscaster in the industry."

According to trump on Truth Social, he and harris had decided to adhere to the same guidelines that he and Vice President Joe Biden did during the june 27 debate, which included having a live audience and using muted microphones while the candidates weren't speaking.

US President Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential contest following the june debate and backed Kamala Harris.

Under the CNN regulations, trump said, the candidates would not be allowed to carry notes or "cheat sheets."

"We have also been given assurance by ABC that this will be a "fair and equal" debate and that neither side will be given the questions in advance (No Donna Brazile! )," he said.

The 78-year-old former US President continued by stating that the third discussion, which was scheduled to air live on Fox news on september 4, would not be approved by the "Radical Left".

"While harris will not commit to the september 4th Fox news debate, that date will remain available in case she flip-flops or changes her mind, as she has done with every single one of her deeply held and treasured policy ideas. The Radical Left has not consented to a potential third debate, which would go to NBC FAKE news," he said.
