Nikhil Kamath, the co-founder of Zerodha and a prosperous indian businessman, is currently in the news for his views on leaving a legacy and having children. Nikhil is co-founder of two businesses: Gruhas, a real estate investment and prop tech company, and True Beacon, an asset management company. He also owns retail brokerage Zerodha. Nikhil was also included on the forbes list of billionaires for 2023 as a result of his enormous contributions to the business sector.

Additionally, Nikhil Kamath broadcasts the podcast WTF is. Furthermore, while engaging in discussions with notable figures from a variety of businesses, he continues to divulge several unrecorded incidents from his past. Nikhil recently discussed the concept of "legacy" in one of his podcast's most recent episodes. He declared that he did not believe in the concept.

“I think we all feel that we are more important than we actually are... you are born and you die like every other animal on the planet and then you are gone and nobody remembers anybody. What's the point of being remembered (after death)? I feel like you should come, you should live well, you should be nice to the people you meet in your life."

Nikhil also disclosed during that same session that he doesn't think having kids is a good idea. Having offspring is not necessary, in his opinion, to carry on a "legacy". He does not want to "babysit" for the next twenty years of his life in the hopes that his kids will take good care of him when he gets older. Nikhil stated: "This is also partly why I don't have kids. I'm going to ruin 18-20 years of my life babysitting this child and then if luck serves me right, the reverse will happen at some point. What if he says 'scr** you' at 18 and leave anyway."
