stree 2, the horror comedy starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is destroying the box office left, right, and center. In just 11 days, this absurd follow-up achieved the Rs. 400 crores nett milestone in India. This milestone was reached in the same amount of days by biggies like SRK's Jawan and Ranbir's Animal, which essentially sums up stree 2's catastrophic box office destruction.

The film's global box office receipts will shortly eclipse Rs. 600 crore. The movie will undoubtedly surpass the 500 crore net worth in india in the next few days. But getting into the exclusive Rs. 1000 crore club would be a difficult challenge for this skillfully produced commercial entertainment, mostly because of stree 2's performance in foreign markets.

Stree 2 has made around Rs. 500 crores in revenue from india alone as of right now, while its global total is less than Rs. 100 crores. North America (NA), with around Rs. 50 crores in gross, is the second-largest donor after India. While there is no denying stree 2's outstanding achievement in North America, the movie isn't doing well in other international countries while smashing records in India.

Stree 2's success abroad is respectable considering that it was produced on a medium budget; nonetheless, a significant contribution from foreign markets is required if the movie is to become the first to earn a million crores and become part of the exclusive group of bollywood films that includes Dangal, Jawan, and Pathaan. This isn't the case with stree 2, which has a potential lifetime box office gross of almost Rs. 800 crores.

Gadar 2 and Animal, two recent bollywood mega-blockbusters, were not able to join the 1000-crore club due to their relatively lower international receipts. It will be difficult for subsequent horror movies to match stree 2's record-breaking status as the highest-grossing indian horror movie.
