Mamata Banerjee's "burn" warning to Modi...?

Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, attacked mamata banerjee, the chief minister of West bengal, on wednesday for her comments regarding the 12-hour shutdown, which was organized by the bjp and was characterized by occasional violent incidents. He accused Banerjee of fomenting unrest and polarizing politics throughout the country.

"Avoid giving us a red face. Avoid trying to ignite india with your failure-oriented politics. Speaking insensitive remarks is not appropriate for you," he continued. Following Banerjee's criticism of prime minister Narendra Modi and the bjp for the violence during the bandh, Sarma made some pointed comments. "Some people think this (agitation) is similar to the protests in bangladesh," Banerjee said during the Trinamool Congress's (TMC) student wing's foundation day event. bangladesh speaks Bengali, which is why I adore them. It is also the same in our society. bangladesh, though, is a distinct nation. The chief minister of West Bengal was alluding to the student-led demonstrations in bangladesh that resulted in prime minister Sheikh Hasina's resignation.

"PM Modi, you are attempting to use your people to sow discord in Bengal. However, keep in mind that burning bengal would also burn Assam, the Northeast, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Delhi, according to Banerjee.

Banerjee added that her old catchphrase, "badla noy, badal chai" (no retaliation, only change), needs to be modified to take into account the ways that circumstances and times were changing.
