Telugu star heroes now look to Bollywood's young starlet janhvi kapoor as their heroine; ntr and ram charan have both signed her for movies. Her latest single, "Chuttamalle," has demonstrated her potential as a glamorous asset that can successfully mimic the aura of a movie star.
 
Janhvi has long been the object of sukumar and Allu Arjun's desire for her to perform an item number in pushpa 2, but she signed a contract with the Devara company that bans her from appearing in any telugu movies indefinitely. There was a provision in the contract that prevented pushpa 2 from performing the item song when it was first scheduled for release on august 15. But now that Devara will be released in september and pushpa 2 has been rescheduled for december, she can perform the item song in pushpa 2.
 
Sukumar and allu arjun thought about Animal actress Tripti Dimri, but they didn't think she could dance well enough for an item song, especially after the first half of pushpa had made "Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava" a big hit. They think janhvi kapoor is the ideal example of the kind of fantastic dancer they're searching for—someone with boundless hotness.

It is quite probable that janhvi kapoor would sing the item song in pushpa 2, which is scheduled for release on december 6. There won't be any turning back if she creates a hit like "Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava," as she would become the most sought-after actress among all telugu star heroes.
