Police in Bengaluru stated on wednesday that they had arrested a man for allegedly murdering his wife. The woman's companion, who had been with her the previous evening, discovered her dead in her apartment and claimed that she had been strangled.
 
Navyashree, a 25-year-old dance instructor, and her husband kiran resided at SMV Layout, Kengeri Upanagara, according to the police complaint. Their marital status was three years old.
 
The companion of Navyashree who lodged the police complaint, Aishwarya, claimed to have received a message from her buddy on the morning of august 27.


Around 430 p.m., aishwarya arrived at Navyashree's house, and she informed her that she was in difficulty both inside and outside.
 
Fearing for her safety, Navyashree phoned Anil, one of her other friends, and asked to see him. When the three got together later that night, Anil advised Navyashree to report her husband in the hopes that the police would step in and assist sort out the marital problems.
 
At about 11.30 p.m., Navyashree and aishwarya returned to their house and went to bed after sending Anil off. The following morning, Aishwarya, who had been drinking, discovered Navyashree dead. She called the police control room and informed the neighbors right away.
 

The police believe that Kiran, Navyashree's husband, may have used a spare key to enter the residence and carry out the murder since he had allegedly had misgivings about his wife. According to sources, the woman was tormented, confined to a chair, and eventually slain.
 
Police have apprehended kiran on the basis of Aishwarya's complaint.
 
A murder case has been filed by the Kengeri police under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Section 103(1).
