The guy who reportedly killed the trolley operator at Kempegowda international airport in Bengaluru on wednesday did so because he thought the victim was having an extramarital affair with his wife. At around 7 o'clock at night, a guy assaulted the victim, named as Ramakrishna, with a machete close to the Terminal 1 parking lot. The stabbing happened amid a brawl between the two, the airport police said.

Shortly after the event, the Bengaluru police arrested the offender, Ramesh. Ramesh, who had apparently been waiting for a chance to confront ramakrishna in their hamlet, found out that the man was employed at the airport, according to the police. Today, Ramesh went to the airport and used a machete to slay Ramakrishna's neck out of a fit of wrath.

"One Ramesh fatally attacked a 45-year-old employee of Kempegowda international airport with a knife after suspecting him of having an extramarital affair. At the airport, ramakrishna was employed as a trolley puller. After boarding a BMTC bus to get to the airport, Ramesh got into a fight with Ramakrishna. Subsequently, he removed a knife and stabbed him. Major bleeding caused Ramakrishna's death, according to the airport Police.

Ramesh, the accused, was going by bus, thus his suitcase was not examined, according to the Deputy Commissioner of police, Bengaluru North east Division, which allowed him to smuggle the weapon into the airport.
