When it comes to conveying reality to the big screen, hansal mehta has always demonstrated his expertise. With movies like shahid and aligarh, the seasoned filmmaker has presented the public with some excellent subjects throughout the years. Nowadays, most people watch movies with lots of action, excitement, and glitz. In current environment, when people are not accepting films of any kind with ease, it is difficult to thrive. Mehta is releasing a new crime thriller on september 13 called The Buckingham Murders, which comes around two years after the release of Faraaz.

With a strong star cast headed by kareena kapoor Khan, the teaser has already generated a lot of hype. There are concerns over the box office prospects of Mehta's upcoming film, despite the fact that everybody who has followed all kinds of cinema over the years is familiar with his work. Even though Mehta's films have received high praise from critics, there hasn't been much of a magic at the box office. While aligarh and shahid were based on real-life personalities, as everyone may recall, the plays did not play to capacity audiences.

A few years ago, Mehta made an impression on OTT viewers with Scam 1992: The harshad mehta Story. The sports comedy Chhalaang, which managed to draw in some family audiences, came next. However, a movie's potential isn't fully seen until it's shown on a large screen. The same holds true for The Buckingham Murders; only time will tell how many people choose to buy tickets and visit the theaters.

Currently showing on the big screen is stree 2, which is drawing viewers of all ages. It is anticipated that the horror comedy will stay on the big screen until next month, given the positive reception it received. Although there hasn't been a major motion picture released in theaters for a while, kareena kapoor Khan's recent decline in popularity might act as a turnoff. In the unlikely event that the movie fails to recoup the producers' financial investment, even if people come to see kareena kapoor Khan.
