Noida Student Securing Dream Summer Internship With google Says It Is A 'Dream Come True'

Securing a job at google is a coveted achievement for many tech enthusiasts in India, and a student from noida has recently realized this dream. Isha Singh, a third-year computer science student, has landed a software engineering summer internship with google for 2025. She described the moment she saw her name on the final results as “incredible” and credited her success to rigorous preparation and hard work.

In a thread on X, Singh shared her journey, noting that the process involved an online assessment and two technical interviews with Google’s recruiters. It all began in june when her college's Training and Placement (TnP) cell invited her to apply for the internship.

The online assessment took place on July 13, and only 30 students were selected for the first round of interviews. Singh recounted, “The interviews were scheduled for the next day, leaving us almost no time to prepare. My first interview, which lasted about 50 minutes, included two medium to hard difficulty DSA questions that I was able to solve successfully.”

The quick transition to the next round heightened her anxiety. The second interview, lasting 45 minutes, focused on priority queues and included a follow-up question. Singh managed to solve the problem and explain her solutions in detail, including time and space complexities. Both interview rounds were eliminatory.

The following day, the college announced the names of students selected for google India, and Singh was thrilled to see her name on the list. She expressed, “It’s a dream come true. I never imagined passing my first interview with Google.”

Her post gained significant attention, with users congratulating her and seeking advice on the selection process. Singh actively engaged with queries, offering insights into her experiences. Her post on X has received nearly 3,000 likes and 136 comments, with many users asking for tips on DSA preparation.
