After serving as Vice President of Finance and business Operations at tesla for 11 years, Sreela Venkataraman has announced her retirement. Sreela Venkataraman, who joined tesla in 2013 as director of Finance, saw the firm develop significantly. At the time, tesla was valued at $4 billion on the market, brought in less than $1 billion annually, and produced less than 3,000 vehicles annually. Tesla's market capitalization has risen to $700 billion, with revenue close to $100 billion, reaching a peak of $1 trillion amidst the epidemic.

One of just two female vice presidents of tesla, Sreela Venkataraman, expressed her joy at being a part of this incredible adventure. She talked about how she helped tesla expand internationally, especially in countries like China. She also emphasized how demanding Elon Musk's tesla workplace is, saying that it's "not for the faint of heart."

She claims that working with Elon Musk's workplace culture is difficult. She thanked her coworkers in her parting statement and announced her intention to take a break to prioritize her family and personal health before looking for new possibilities. Her resignation from tesla comes after a number of high-profile exits in recent months, including that of CFO Zach Kirkhorn and many senior executives.
