For indian graduates who choose to continue their education beyond the country, there are always options. Whatever field of study they choose, the students are always prepared to seek postsecondary education abroad. India's top four nations of preference in this regard are the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
 
Indians are interested in studying in the aforementioned nations because of the high standard of living, access to education, and job prospects. Recently, among indian students, popular destinations have included the Philippines, France, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, Ireland, Singapore, and Russia. According to a research by university Living Accommodation Pvt Ltd titled "Indian Student Mobility Report 2023-24," the number of indian students studying overseas climbed from 10.90 lakh in 2019 to 11.80 lakh by 2022. By the next year, the number is predicted to reach 15 lakhs.
 

Simultaneously, in 2019, indian students expended over Rs. 8.10 lakh crore on studying overseas. In 2022, it increased by 8% to Rs. 8.98 lakh crore. Once more, it is predicted that by 2025, spending will total Rs. 5.86 lakh crore. students from Telugu, Punjab, and maharashtra are very interested in going abroad to further their studies. These states account for almost 37% of all students who study overseas (12.5% each from AP&TG, maharashtra, and Punjab). students from tamil Nadu, Delhi, and gujarat make up 8% of all students going overseas for higher study.
