Viewers' opinions to this year's sleeper smash Munjya, which is now available on OTT, have been conflicting. The movie is about a young guy who goes back to his hometown and discovers a family secret. He also meets Munjya, a furious ghost who is keen to be married.

After then, the young guy has to defend his love and himself from Munjya, which sets off a crazy and hilarious journey. Munjya, which is currently accessible on Disney Plus Hotstar, has received accolades for its humor and horror themes despite having mediocre visual effects. Many people find it amusing and a useful way to kill time, but why it became such a huge hit and made 140 crores globally is a mystery.

The idea behind the movie was sound, however it might have been improved in the end. Though it could have ended worse, the ending was satisfying, much like the previous installment in the horror-comedy series, Bhediya. It should be noted, meanwhile, that some OTT users have started criticizing movies that did well in cinemas.

They might not understand that watching a movie in a theater can have a significant impact on its impact or that watching a wonderful movie on a mobile device could not have the same impact as watching it in a theater. Even with its conflicting OTT reaction, Munjya is nevertheless a big success and a masterwork of low-budget, low-resource theatrical filmmaking.
