Early on thursday in Mumbai's Goregaon district, a 24-year-old man lost his life when his bike was struck by a speeding SUV driven by a 17-year-old lad, according to police, as reported by news agency PTI. Following the police arrest of the adolescent driver, two other people, including the owner of the SUV, were named in the case against him.
 
According to a police officer, Navin Vaishnaw, the victim, was selling milk when a mahindra Scorpio struck his two-wheeler from the wrong side around four in the morning. The mahindra then fled the scene.
 
The SUV first struck the two-wheeler and then collided with an electric pole. The young motorist attempted to flee, but he was apprehended by the police after suffering injuries.
 

Upon learning of the accident, the police arrived on the scene and brought Vaishnaw to the hospital, where the medical staff pronounced him dead.

According to the police officer, a case was filed against the 17-year-old, Iqbal Jivani (48), the owner of the SUV, and his son Mohammed Faz Iqbal Jivani (21).

With the assistance of the CCTV footage, the police were able to confiscate the automobile and make an arrest of all the suspects, including the youngster.

According to the official, blood samples from the adolescent kid were submitted to a laboratory to ascertain if he was intoxicated at the time of the occurrence.

According to PTI, the police were looking into whether the accused went out drinking with his pals before to the collision.
