The largest retailer in India, reliance Retail, has set a challenging target to increase its revenue in the next three to four years. director Isha Ambani made this lofty goal known during reliance Industries' Annual General Meeting (AGM).
 
Reliance Retail announced gross sales of Rs 3.06 lakh crore ($36.8 billion) for the fiscal year that concluded on march 31, 2024. This is a robust 17.8% increase over the prior year. The company's aim will be accomplished, according to Isha Ambani, who said, "With the strong foundation we have built, I am confident that we will achieve our goal of doubling our retail business in the next 3-4 years."

Reliance Retail has a remarkable international reputation. According to reliance Chairman mukesh Ambani, the firm has more stores than any other retailer in the world—five, to be exact—and has a market valuation that places it in the top ten. Based on revenue, it is ranked among the top 30 merchants worldwide. reliance Retail added 1,840 new locations in the last year, bringing its total number of stores to 18,836, with 79 million square feet of combined retail space.
 
Additionally, the business raised Rs 17,814 crore (USD 2.1 billion) at a USD 100 billion value with success. Isha Ambani emphasized the remarkable achievements of the firm across several domains, namely in the food sector, where reliance Retail has emerged as the leading player, increasing at a rate of 2.5 times faster than the whole contemporary trade.
