Annual vehicle traffic charge waived for public transport!!!

He said that today, taking a historic decision, we have waived the annual vehicle traffic charge for the rest of the public transport vehicles as well. By adding GST to this charge of 1200, they had to pay more than 1400 rupees, which they will not have to pay now. The kejriwal government has considered auto drivers as family members. Whenever they had any problem, whenever they demanded anything from us, we decided in their favor. At the time of fitness, up to two and a half thousand had to be paid in the name of speed governor charge. That too has been waived.


Apart from this, many other fees have also been waived or reduced. During the Corona period, Rs 167 crore was given to auto drivers as relief. There are 2,44,312 public service vehicles like auto, taxi, rural service, phatphat service in the national capital, that is, about two and a half lakh. Of these, 85 thousand are autos. An annual vehicle traffic charge is levied in delhi, about 1200 per year. Till 2019, auto drivers used to pay 1200 rupees annually in the name of vehicle traffic, which was waived by the kejriwal government in 2019.
