Delhi government preparing to make artificial rain!!!

A big meeting was held in the secretariat on thursday (August 29) regarding the Winter Action Plan of the delhi government to deal with the problem of pollution in Delhi. Artificial rain was also discussed in this. delhi Government's Environment minister Gopal Rai had called a meeting of all the officials and environment experts at 12 noon regarding the Winter Action Plan. In this meeting, those suggestions were discussed with the experts through which the problem of pollution can be reduced.

After the meeting, Environment minister Gopal Rai, while giving information about these suggestions, said that last year we had made an attempt regarding artificial rain. Today suggestions have come that work should start on it in advance. That is, all the formalities should be completed in time so that artificial rain can be made if needed. He said, "Tomorrow I will write a letter to the Union Environment minister regarding this so that permissions etc. can be discussed in advance in which experts and officials from IIT are also involved."


Along with this, he said that in 2016 there were 110 days when AQI was in the good category. Last year it increased to 206 days when AQI was in a better condition. This is a big achievement for us. Especially in this period when the population of delhi has increased, construction has increased, vehicles have increased, production has increased. Gopal Rai said that with the cooperation of the residents of delhi, neighboring states and the Center, we were able to achieve this success.

Last year, the Winter Action Plan was made on the basis of 14 points


Gopal Rai said that every year after the month of October, the level of pollution in delhi starts increasing, which lasts till January. For this, the government prepares a Winter Action Plan every year. We have started working on it for this year as well. Experts were called for this today. people from important departments also participated in this. We will include all the suggestions in the Winter Action Plan. Last year, the Winter Action Plan was made on the basis of 14 points. Gopal Rai said that the concerned departments have been asked to make an action plan on the suggestions received today, a joint meeting of all the departments will also be held on september 5. The Environment Department will adjust their action plan and it will be placed before the public.
