Chief minister Nara chandrababu naidu has turned his attention to telangana in an effort to fortify the party in the area where it was first established, following the tdp coalition's triumph in Andhra Pradesh. A noteworthy development is the potential comeback of prominent figures in the film industry and politics, Babu Mohan.

With the encouragement of his fans, babu mohan seems prepared to return to the tdp after a period of inactivity in politics. After winning the Andole assembly seat in the medak district in 1999, babu mohan was elected as an mla for the first time in the 1998 by-elections. He was a member of Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet as the minister of Labour. He continued to be a prominent political figure even after losing the elections in 2004 and 2009 to former deputy chief minister Damodar raja Narasimha. In 2014, he joined the telangana rashtra samithi (TRS) after quitting the TDP.

According to recent sources, babu mohan is getting ready to don the yellow scarf of the tdp once more, maybe in a public show of support at the ntr Trust Bhavan, to officially rejoin the party that gave him his political debut.
