Maharashtra, two separate accidents involving speeding SUVs have made headlines.

In the first incident, a pedestrian named Rohit from Uchgaon village was severely injured after being struck by a speeding SUV on a highway late friday night. Surveillance footage reveals the pedestrian was hit from behind by the SUV, propelling him several feet into the air. The SUV’s driver fled the scene immediately after the collision. Rohit is now receiving medical treatment at a local hospital, and the police are actively searching for the driver, with the CCTV footage serving as a key piece of evidence.

In a related incident, a mahindra Scorpio was involved in a deadly crash while driving on the wrong side of the road. The SUV collided with a two-wheeler, killing the rider, Navin Vaishnaw, and then crashed into an electric pole. The 17-year-old driver of the Scorpio attempted to escape but was caught by police after sustaining injuries.
