Angry' Sanjay Roy Demands egg Chowmein Instead of Standard Prison Meal

Sanjay Roy, an accused in the kolkata rape and murder case currently held at the Presidency Correctional home, reportedly expressed frustration over the prison food. Dissatisfied with the standard "roti-sabzi" meal, Roy requested to be served egg chowmein.

However, prison regulations require all inmates to eat the same meal, so Roy's request for a special dish could not be accommodated. Sources from the prison indicated that Roy was upset upon receiving the basic meal but eventually complied after being admonished by jail staff.

Previously, when Roy was transferred to Presidency Correctional home from cbi custody, he had requested some rest and was noted to be mumbling at times. He has since returned to his usual demeanor.
