In a move towards embracing paperless and cashless transactions, the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) is set to go fully wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital with its pass issuance system. Starting september 15, BMTC will offer daily, weekly, and monthly passes through the Namma BMTC mobile app, streamlining the process for commuters and enhancing convenience.

Previously, BMTC passes were issued manually by conductors on buses or at terminals. Instead, they can download the Namma BMTC app from the Play Store, choose their pass type, enter their details, and upload a photograph. Easy and User-Friendly Process

The process is designed to be straightforward:

  1. Download the Namma BMTC app.
  2. Select the pass type (daily, weekly, or monthly).
  3. Enter personal details and upload a photograph.
  4. Confirm the purchase and complete the payment.
