The whole state of telangana was rocked by the destruction of actor Nagarjuna's N-Convention. The hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA), a government-appointed agency, dismantled the N-Convention because it was constructed by intruding against the Full Tank Level (FTL) zone of Thammikunta Lake in Madhapur.

Nagarjuna argued that the N-Convention property is patta land and that the destruction was illegal. AV Ranganath, the Commissioner of HYDRAA, however, affirmed that no clearance had ever been obtained to construct the N-Convention in the first place. ranganath underlined in a recent interview that the entire construction was inside the FTL zone and that no authorization was obtained to build it.

He clarified that the ghmc had submitted a preliminary notice against the building of the N-Convention back in 2014. The proprietors of N-Convention responded by submitting a petition against this notification to the High Court. Subsequently, the proprietors of N-Convention were present when the court mandated that a survey be carried out. Following the completion of the survey, a follow-up message was sent out verifying that the construction was inside Thammidikunta Lake's flood threshold.

Ranganath went on to say that the owners of the N-Convention tried to regularize this unapproved construction via the Building Regularization Scheme (BRS), but they haven't been successful in getting approval from the relevant authorities for the last ten years. ranganath explained in response to Nagarjuna's claims of patta land that, although patta may be awarded for such land, it should be used for agriculture rather than for erecting structures such as the N-Convention.
