If unlawful structures are discovered in andhra pradesh, the government may take similar measures to that of HYDRAA, according to minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Narayana. Earlier, Narayana and Ganta Srinivasa Rao, the mla for Bheemili, examined the Kapuluppada dumping yard in Visakhapatnam.

Narayana examined the work processes at the site and took a tour of the Solid Waste Management Center at the dumping yard during his visit. Speaking to the media, Narayana issued a warning, saying that the government will act swiftly and harshly against anybody attempting to unlawfully take possession of or acquire government land in any of the 121 municipalities in the state.

He urged everyone who had been occupying government property unlawfully to leave. He added that the government will also introduce a HYDRAA-like scheme in andhra pradesh if needed. mla Ghanta Srinivasa Rao said that certain individuals have built structures illegally on the grounds of Visakhapatnam government parks. He promised that those buildings will face legal consequences.

The telangana government last month established HYDRAA, a new department. Since its founding, HYDRAA has been tearing down several illegitimate buildings that encroached into Hyderabad. Narayana now made a suggestion that the ap administration may use a comparable strategy to combat unauthorized building throughout the state.
