Kevan Parekh, an executive with indian ancestry, will take over as Apple's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on january 1, 2025, the company stated. He will take over for the long-serving Luca Maestri. Luca Maestri will remain at apple and will continue to oversee corporate services such as real estate and information security, answering directly to CEO Tim Cook.
 
Having worked with apple for more than 11 years, Kevan Parekh has held a number of significant finance positions, such as managing global sales, marketing, and retail finance. Kevan Parekh was a leader at General Motors and Thomson Reuters before to joining Apple. Having attended the Universities of Michigan and Chicago, he has a foundation in both business and electrical engineering.
