Hyderabad-Bound indigo Flight Diverted to nagpur Due to Bomb Threat


An indigo flight traveling from jabalpur in madhya pradesh to hyderabad was diverted to nagpur on sunday (September 1) following a bomb threat. According to officials, security teams conducted a thorough search and found no suspicious items, and the flight is expected to resume its journey at 2 pm.


IndiGo airlines issued a formal statement regarding the incident. The airline confirmed that Flight 6E-7308, which was originally scheduled to fly from jabalpur to hyderabad, had to be rerouted to nagpur International airport because of the bomb threat. Once the aircraft landed, all passengers were safely disembarked, and mandatory security protocols were promptly put in place. The airline provided the passengers with necessary assistance and refreshments during the delay and offered an apology for any inconvenience caused by the incident.

A police official provided further details, stating that the bomb threat message was discovered written on a piece of paper in the aircraft's bathroom. Despite this unsettling discovery, the subsequent search by security personnel revealed no suspicious items or threats. The authorities are continuing their investigation into the origin of the threat and the intentions behind it.
