Director venkat prabhu discussed his opinions over 'GOAT's' three-hour duration in an interview with Cineulagam. While acknowledging that "GOAT" is a fast-moving movie, he brought up the team's debate on the movie's duration. He stated that because the duration was more than three hours, the team was first concerned. But venkat prabhu clarified why it was essential to follow the duration in order to tell the tale of the "GOAT." It was simply difficult, he said, to deliver a complex narrative in three hours.

In this case, director Venkat Prabhu's brother Premji Amaran confessed in an interview that the movie will collect 1500 Crores. He stressed again they have done calculations and ensured the movie will easily cross 1000 Crores mark.
