It's difficult to succeed both in the OTT market and at the box office. Regarding RRR, this movie fulfilled both of these criteria as it was an enormous hit both in theaters and on OTT, where it went viral worldwide. On these counts, this is a rajamouli signature smash.

Prashanth Neel seems to be the only commercial filmmaker outside rajamouli who can draw in repeat viewers on OTT. kgf 1 was Neel's previous over-the-top offering. This movie went viral on OTT. Furthermore, Salaar, Neel's most recent venture, has also performed admirably. On social media, the movie's action scene and build-up shot snippets are still popular.


By the way, Kalki, the streaming service, just debuted and hasn't quite gotten off the ground. At best, the movie's OTT reaction has been only poor. Additionally, the clippings are not visible on the social media platform. This proves beyond a doubt how difficult it is for a commercial director to hit it big in cinemas and simultaneously have it trend on OTT.
 

So yet, only rajamouli and Neel have accomplished it to a significant degree. It might be said that lokesh kanagaraj excels at it as well. His movies haven't trended on OTT like Salaars and RRRs, but they have typically performed well at the box office. rajamouli and Neel are currently the only two artisans of note.
