A demonstration over the rape-murder of a trainee doctor in kolkata allegedly resulted in a lady being sexually harassed. Those who witnessed the event said that the man showed off his privates to a woman who was protesting.
 
One of the busiest junctions in the city, the Esplanade crossing, is where the event happened. A few of the demonstrators apprehended the man in the act and notified the neighboring police officers.
 
Sources claim that the man was granted permission to go when the local police recognized him as mentally ill and recognized him as a local. The demonstrators were incensed by this and became agitated against the police, asking that the implicated policemen and other cops involved be immediately disciplined.


A case has been filed under Section 79 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) in response to the woman's allegation. police have opened an investigation, and in order to identify and track down the offender, they are examining local CCTV video.
 
"Amra Tilottoma" organized the demonstration in opposition to the horrifying rape-murder case at the RG Kar hospital.
 
The demonstrators, who wanted justice and responsibility from the police force, gathered outside the office of the Deputy Commissioner of police (Central) after the event incited a surge of rage and resentment.
 

The woman has demanded, along with other demonstrators, that immediate and forceful measures be taken to guarantee the security and dignity of every person taking part in nonviolent demonstrations.
