In an exclusive interview with CNN News18, telugu actress lakshmi manchu talked candidly about the claims of sexual harassment in the malayalam film business. The actress praised the women who have come forward to share their stories. She pointed out that there needs to be reform since this sort of abuse occurs in many industries. She expects that every industry would release a report of their own to clarify the concerns, taking a lead from the hema Committee Report.

"I want to commend you for publishing this publicly. Keralan women now have more power as a result of this, lakshmi manchu exclusively told CNN News18. She asserted, "This kind of exploitation occurs in every field." lakshmi stated, "I think we have moved it from where it was before...it is something we need to continously work forward," pleading with every industry to provide reports along these lines.

"I find it extremely appalling that no one from the telugu film industry, especially men, has come out and supported this," she said, laughing and making jokes about the men. She pointed out that while some males have reshared appeals to report sexual harassment in the telugu film business, the quantity is insufficient.

"It is nothing novel at all...We now have a bigger voice thanks to social media and news organizations that work to expose falsehoods, the actress remarked. lakshmi stated that she is aware that not everyone would find her chat with the news station amicable. She remarked, "I know I'm going to get a lot of calls asking me why I'm doing this and that I should keep quitting." She did, however, emphasize that she will continue to express her views.

"I have nothing to lose by stating this publicly, but other women are unable to do so. They stand to lose far more," she remarked.
